Knee Deep In The Nitty Gritty
Tales of my trip to Jackson!
Well, I thought I would update some of you who *might* be thinking about some of the stuff that I got up for sale and trade here. I tripped up to Jackson to visit Heroes & Dreams this weekend, and those guys up there were mightynice to me. In return, I gave them some stuff to help out some of the people that come into the store. If you like Silver Age comics. then ask them about their silver age stuff! Hell, you might just be bale to see it on the wall if they decided they had enough room. Some of this stuff includes (but is NOT limited to) some early World's Finest Comics issues from the 100's, Conan The Barbarian #7, and some early Aquaman from the 1960's.
I plan on making the Jackson trip about once a month as my supplies require. Can't just toss these things on the shelf with the termites and mildew after all. I'll try to bring by some stuff to drop off at the store there at Heroes & Dreams that you guys can use. Some of the things I'll be keeping an eye out for is early Power Girl, Batman, Superman, and Green Lantern. Other stuff is in the works, so if you are looking for something let me know and i'll see if I can help you find a copy that's affordable. Keep in mind, though, I deal primarily in Silver Age, Bronze Age, and Copper Age, and I do NOT grade comics as there are better people qualified to do that sort of thing. The books that I'll find won't have water stains, mildew, or pieces missing. I'll allow minor chipping and minor writing or rubber stamping, though.
I'll leave you with a parting gesture to ponder:
