Yomama's Comics

   This is the place where I have things I'm looking to sell or trade. The items listed here will be for sale only here unless otherwise noted. The booksI list are usually a result of obtaining extra due to buying lots of books. I'll list things by title and series or volume. Included will be some Silver Age, Bronze Age, and Copper Age. You might also find some Independent titles as well as mainstream titles. You just never really know.

   If you are interested in making a trade rather than purchasing any of these items, then you can check out the section entitled "The Milk & Honey" for my main things I collect.  I have a strong tendency towards Silver Age books. 

    As expected, this is where I explain my policies:

    Shipping:

       If need be, I can ship items via USPS to most anywhere within the U.S. Items will be shipped only when payment is received. If you are within the region, we can arrange to meet at Heroes & Dreams in Jackson on a Saturday only (schedule permitting).  As a third option, I can leave the book at Heroes & Dreams in the care of Dale and Jay for you to pick up and complete the transaction. If there is a consignment charge, then you will be responsible for that consignment charge in addition to the price of the items. All shipping costs will be added to the total purchase price. I will try to combine items when possible to reduce shipping costs. Where applicable, I will provide a tracking number for you as you can track it directly online at http://www.usps.com/ . I make NO guarantees of time it takes to ship items. If you'd like to complain about the time it took to ship your item, I suggest you complain to the Postmaster General.

    Payment:

       I prefer to accept payment via PayPal as it's nice, quick, clean, and efficient. Should you not have a Paypal account with which to transfer funds, then you may request an address to which you can send payment. Once payment has cleared, I will send the items. Don't forget to provide me with a shipping address. At the moment, I do not offer insurance. All sales are final. No refunds or exchanges. I will try to provide the best possible information about said item(s) including pictures upon request. My scanner has stopped working, so all pictures will be done via digital camera for the time being.

    General:

        Any questions or comments regarding the sale of items can be directed towards me through this website. I'm not a professional comic book grader, but I will offer my opinion based on Overstreet's Price Guide and about 20 years of experience. Also, I take into consideration the age of the book because let's face it, a VG 4.0 copy of a book from 1955 is by no means the same condition as a VG 4.0 comic book from 1995. On the other hand, grading has and will always remain a qualitative measurement. (This is why I provide the option for you to request pictures.). I generally don't believe in the idea of "Mint", so don't expect me to grade anything as "Mint".

        I reserve the right to change any of these policies or procedures at any time without warning.
